Welcome!

Thank you for visiting "Los Niños de María" Foundation’s website, a non-profit organization registered in both the United States and the Dominican Republic.

We appreciate the unconditional support received to meet the organization’s fundraising goals. Through numerous monthly activities, the amount of goodwill and donations have surpassed in collecting much-needed school supplies, toys, clothing, food, medicine, and more . This is not posible without continued support throughout the year for the families and children of Los Ninos de Maria – “Maria’s Children.”

The foundation mission is divided into two parts:

a) At the beginning of the year, collecting donations normally is for school supplies and funds to help pay for shipment of the items to Dominican Republic.
b) Toward the end of the year, toy drives are held for the children.

As of right now, Los Ninos de Maria’s goals have been more than met. Thanks to volunteers, donors and local businesses more than 25,000 children and their families have received much needed goods. Those smiles alone are the most gratifying.

What does it take to be part of this labor of love?

Let others know of the needs of these families in the Dominican Republic. Begin collecting new and/or used clothing right in your own home. Neighbors, relatives, friends, co-workers, and local businesses can help.

Donations of clothing, school supplies, canned food, medicine, and personal hygiene products (soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, brush, comb, etc) are accepted.

Once the items have been collected, they may be packed in plastic bags for donation. Arrangements for pickup by our organization are available upon request!

Monetary donations are also accepted throughout the year.
